Anyone doing square foot gardening in Wi? How many square feet? What do you plant?

  • I do it in OH. I have 5 "rows" which are 4' x 15'. I grow (or at least try to) beans, peas, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, radishes, carrots, cukes, spinach, beets, onions. Beans get one row, tomatoes get one, roots get one, peas & carrots get one, and salad stuff gets the last one. Sometimes I plant pumpkins or melons, but I'm not going to this year. I have also planted okra and squash before. I love this method, you can get a lot out of a small area!
