Are icing sugar and confectioners sugar the same?

I am making a recipe of chocolate crinkles, a traditional Australian childrens snack and the recipe calls for sifted icing sugar but I have no idea what that is and my local grocery stores dont have it, but I have some confectioners sugar...is it the same and could I use it in the recipe?
I need to make them today so any help is appreciated!

  • Icing Sugar, Powdered sugar, Confectioners Sugar, 10X.... ALL the same exact thing.

Raw/Turbanado Sugar, Brown Sugar, Evaporated Cane Juice, White Sugar, Extra Fine Sugar, 4X (powdered, but not as fine), Sprinkling Sugar... NOT all the same.
