Can you eat crab ragoons when you are pregnant?

I know it's a dumb question but since it has a crab in it, that's why I am wondering lol.

  • I hope so because I craved them through my whole 2nd pregnancy, and ate them! Funny thing is our 7 yr old loves them now,lol...
They're fine to eat, they are fully cooked.

  • I hope so because I just ate some last week, lol. That and calamari, fried clams, shrimp and clam chowder! cravings this time around seem to revolve around seafood for some reason.
I think as long as it is cooked it should be fine.
But ask your doctor to be sure if you are still in doubt.

  • It isn't real crab. It is some sort of pollock (fish). Since it is pasturized and processed to death, it won't hurt you. Especially because there is so little "crab" and much more cream cheese/onion/waterchestnut.
