  • I work for a health insurancce agent of sorts - I have United HealthCare PPO ($500 deductible, office visit copays, hospital services 90%). I used to cover my daughter at over $450 a month - she is 18 and now has no insurance, although I'm trying to get her enrolled in the county program. My husband has no insurance and desparately needs it.

  • BlueCross government employees group. It is horrible. When you ask at a doctors office do you take bluecross they smile and say yes. Then they look at the card and say "oh, government employee, um, could you pay upfront?" I hate it.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield are one of the best PPOs out there. I didn't know that for government employees was a different policy. op
