Do you still have a Christmas tree in your Living room?

Here's my cop out - the tree is my husband's project and considers it to be his work of art- likes to have the ornaments put away 'just so'- so he prefers to take care of himself- fine.
I asked him to try to get it down my Valentines day- but there it sits. at this rate I'll be lucky if it's down by Saint Patricks day! :p

  • While I can respect he likes it taken down a certain way... I am the same...He needs to respect your feeling on the matter too. I would tell him if it isn't down by St Patrick's day, you will take it down yourself.

  • It is March you know that right? You just need to take it down when he is at work. Stop waiting for him to do it. JMO

  • No Christmas tree, but I do still have lights on my house!

  • OP, yeah, it's artificial- my mother did leave a real one up until march one year- I told her she had until St Patricks day, and if she didn't get rid of it I was going to throw it onto the front yard where everyone would see it!

    I kept my word.

you should have seen the floor- it looked like someone had laid down a carpet runner made of tree needles everywhere I had dragged it.

    She still talks about that...................

  • OP-it doesn't really bother me that much since it's fake, but it is getting on my nerves. Think he's putting off taking it down because our bird gets so excited when she sees it go up- then throws a fit for a few days when we take it down-

oh the things we do for our kids-

or is the kid my husband?

I'll let him know that his tree is famous when he gets home- :)
