Are some children "louder" than other children?

My son threw a fit today and I could not believe how loud he was. Just because I demanded for him not to touch other child's bike.
Why do I feel that my son is the loudest of all the children.

  • My older two are super loud, they always have been. My youngest is quite. I have no idea why, I chalk it up to nature...

  • some kids are just louder than others. all kids are different & have different personalities. i have 2 girls who are total opposites. it doesn't matter if they are raised in the same environment, disciplined the same way, etc, they are just born with their own unique personalities.

  • Two of mine are much louder then the others (out of 5). I dont know why. They both talk much louder & play louder & are just loud in general.

  • DS1 is kinda loud... DS2 is yelling all of the time, even when its quiet time, and DS3 barely makes a peep (unless he gets frustrated, but he's just discovered temper tantrums, so its OK)

  • According to my niece's mom, my niece (4) has sensitive ears, but you wouldn't know it from the way the kid screams when she's playing indoors - I'm talking ear piercing screaming here. Love her to death, but, damn, it drives me mad crazy.

My kids can get loud sometimes, but they know better than to carry on like the above mentioned child.
