Do you feed your kids those microwaveable tv dinners?

I do sometimes when I am pressed for time..and sometimes I'll have one just cause they are good, lol.
My favorite is the Stoffers mac-n-cheese.

  • No, I steer clear from the microwave when it comes down to my son. It takes the nutrition out of food. Usually, if I'm pressed for time, I heat him up some soup on the stove, which takes all of 5 minutes.

  • Rarely, but, occasionally it does happen.

  • Yeah, it's not something I do on a regular basis, but every now and again.

  • I don't. If I really don't feel like cooking I make them soup but it's not a horrible thing to do it sometimes.

  • no, we don't use a microwave at all. we try to avoid foods with chemicals too.

  • No, I don't microwave anything in plastic if I can help it. There's been a few times when I've had to heat a Lean Cuisine to eat on the run, but not for my kids. I do microwave sometimes (maybe once or twice a week for snacks and such) but not unless its something that can go on a glass plate. Microwaving in plastic released harmful chemicals into the air and into the food. For the most part, we cook home cooked meals from scratch, or for a quick lunch we might make sandwiches, spaghetti, soup, or grilled cheeses.

  • No pre-made chemical food in our house. We cook everything from fresh.

I do however make food in advance and freeze meals in glass trays that can be reheated in the oven if DH is flying solo.
