  • Sorry, it looks like you just barfed out vowels because you don't know how to spell it.
I would spell it Brianna and pronounce it Bree-on-a.

  • Oh yuck that spelling is awful for such a beautiful name. I work with a Brianna pronounced Bree-aw-na.

  • I think you're going to torture your child. Considering the degeneration in intelligence in this country, I wouldn't be surprised if your daughter gets called "bre-ah-ooh-nuh" -- sounds like the baying of a donkey to me. Brianna, on the other hand, is a gorgeous name. If you don't like the traditional spelling, at least pick one that looks like the way it's supposed to be pronounced: Breanna, Bree-Anna, Brienna

  • Thanks for the honesty girls!
Sadly she is 3... so no changing it now , unless she wants to change it when she gets older. That will be OK with me.
While I was pregnant I wanted the name. but I was afraid by spelling it "Brianna" She would be called "Bri - ANNA" so writing out Breaunna looked pretty wrote.. I ask family about it, and they didnt say anything about the bad spelling... so i thought all was good..
until ..... her dr. called her "bree -u - na" ...
So i started looking at her name differently. DANGIT!! I always split it bre/aun/na (au = onh) So bre/on/uh.....
