Can a massage cause a migraine?

  • Yes, there are pressure points all over your body. There are certain spots on your body that if squeezed just right you can pass out. There are spots in your feet that can make a headache go away ( I kow bc Ive had it done before) so I am sure there are spots that can cause a headache.. Yeah sounds pretty possible.

  • I am sure it could happen but it's most likely from not drinking enough water after a massage most good spas tell you to drink extra water(fluids) afterwards because your body releases toxins/water during a massage.

  • if you got a headache i would say it was more likely due to toxins being released as a result of the massage, or dehydration like anon :33 said. could have also been a reaction to aromatherapy, if used...or even the massage cream itself.
