  • You shouldn't "diet" while breast feeding. You can eat healthy food and exercise. You'll still need 300 extra calories daily give or take to produce milk. Just don't eat garbage food and drink plenty of water. Breast feeding itself will help you get your body back.

  • Just eat healthy stay away from fads because they can cause ketones to get into your breastmilk which are toxic. I lost most of my baby weight and ate more than I actually did compared to when I was pregnant. I still have about 5 lbs to go and don't even notice it because my boobs are twice the size as pre pregnancy so honestly the weight is probably there. Im in my smallest size jeans again.

  • To get to and maintain a healthy weight, and set a great example for your kids, you need a healthy lifestyle.
I would start with simple changes.
    Don’t buy junk food
Walk, or do other exercise, for at least 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week.
Make sure that you are drinking enough water, at least 8 8oz glasses a day.
Eat an apple or big pile of veggies before meals.
Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, in at least 3 different colors.
Eat 5-6 servings of whole grains a day.
Eat at least two servings of legumes a day.
Cut way back on meat and dairy.
