  • Hemmorhoids cause bleeding for a little while ....you need to get some medicated cream, etc. from your doctor and it should go away.

  • I don't recall having any rectal bleeding after giving birth. Has your dr told you this is normal? If they have, then I would call them and ask them. To me, it doesn't sound normal.

  • Yeah, I agree, I didn't have any rectal bleeding EVER. That doesn't sound normal. Maybe you burst a vessel that hasn't healed yet? I'd get checked out.

  • I never had any rectal bleeding.  That's not normal, see your doctor.

  • Ummmmm unless you had your child out of your rectum, you should not have rectal bleeding

  • I had bleeding from hemmorids after both my kids. If it's just a little bit of blood, I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if you're having a second period from your arse, I would call your doctor ASAP. Hell, if you're even worried about anything, than call your doc and ask them. They can answer your question better than anyone here on Cafemom, I'm willing to bet.

  • I have three kids and never had rectal bleeeding. I think if your bleeding rectally you need to call the doctor. ASAP>. Hemmroids will give you some blood when you wipe but it should be trace amounts. And you can treat that at home with Preperation H or Tucks pads. But if it's heavy please call your doctor thats not normal.
