  • We always have the same argument:

Me: "(insert something I wanted him to do or not do)!!"

     Him "You're snapping at me"

     Me: "No, I'm not"

Him: "Well I felt like you were snapping at me."

Me: "Okay,  I'm sorry I snapped at you." "Please, (insert same as above in a nicer tone)"

  • We almost always fight about his children from a previous marriage (my stepkids) - they are rude and obnoxious, but his guilt won't allow him to be the strong parent he is to the children we have together.

Currently my 12yr old stepson is having behavior issues in school. Today he got in school suspension because a teacher gave him lunch detention and he ignored her.

My DH did NOTHING about it when SS got home from school. I am FURIOUS about that. We had a fight about it - as usual - it goes nowhere and my requests for him to be the strong parent he is with our kids, falls on deaf ears.
