  • When will the completed bill be posted? Will it be before the final vote? OR are we to take it Pelosis way as she stated 'but but we have to pass the bill so that you can find out whats in it.'

    Seriously? No thanks

  • It's the bill the senate passed. Reconcilation the dems were wanting to use has just been shot down by the Parliamentarian. They were told rules forbid them reconciling it before Obama can sign it. U.S. stocks rose on the news, reversing earlier losses. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Managed Health Care Index climbed 1.6 percent, after earlier dropping as much as 0.7 percent.

  • I wouldn't expect a copy of a congressional bill to be on the White House website. I'd expect it to be on the site of the Chamber that passed it.

  • Problem with Fox is that their viewers believe every word they hear.

  • The Parliamentarian is not the person with the final say on the matter. His job is to advise.
According to longstanding (and legal, Constitutional, moral, ethical... you name it) rules -- the final say belongs to the President of the Senate.... that would be the Vice President of the United States.
If VP Biden steps in, it would not be unprecedented. As recently as the last administration the VP did this very thin
Of course, if the current VP does indeed assume his Constitutionally mandated position and runs the process, the Republicans may still cry foul. They could admit to the inevitable and the factual, but really... they are stuck in their own obstruction at this point, it's too late for them to stop the one way train they have put in motion.

    It's working for me okay.

  • The reason I mentioned the white house website is because BO "promised" that all bills would be posted there before they were "voted" on. Unfortunately, this is not done. March 18th is supposed to be the deadline. Pelosi has said it is going to be passed "with or without" the votes needed. This is a copy of the bill that is supposed to be "passed." It's pure bs.

Anon :27 - Obviously you did not even look at the site. You can view the actual bill there. No commentary at all. That's the problem with anons. They think they know, but actually have no clue. Look, read, learn.
