When can I start giving my baby rooibos tea?

I am really confused because I have read that you can give rooibos tea from birth and other places I read that you can only give rooibos tea from 4 months.

  • I have this tea because my husband and I like it and it's rich in antioxidant, but I've never heard of giving it to a baby. What are the benefits of giving it to an infant? (just curious!)

  • I gave my daughter chamomile as a baby; I would hold off on the rooibos until after her first birthday.

An infant doesn't need an antioxidant; she is not really exposed to pollution and other toxins.
