  • We shop at Sams. Costco is across town and the membership fee is more.

  • We have memberships to both, but we shop at Costco way more. We have the executive membership, which is $100 a year but gives you a percentage of your purchases back. Last year we got a check for I think $265. ($275? I can't remember) We have a Sams membership mostly because they carry the lithium batteries that my husband goes through like crazy for work, and they have maybe a half dozen things that Costco doesn't carry, like a cheese we like. Overall though, Costco has a much better selection and the prices are slightly better than Sams on most of the stuff we buy most often. We also buy almost all of our gas there just to get a little of the cash back. They also have great monthly coupon books at Costco that save us a ton on household stuff like laundry soap.

  • We used to have membership to both but after Costco put up a sign for no firearms in their store, we don't shop there anymore. (You know, right to bear arms, etc.)
