Screaming and tantrums

My question is, how can I stop my child from screaming at me at the top of her lungs? She only does it when I ask her to do something like picking up her toys. She's almost 6 and acts much younger all of a sudden. This has only been happening in the last 2 or 3 months.

  • I'd sit her in time out. If that doesn't work, I'd take away those toys she is screaming at you about cleaning.

  • I would remind her that I AM THE MOM YOU ARE THE CHILD you will not talk to me in that tone. then tell her clean up your toys, if I have to do it they are going in the trash.
