How are summer classes paid for?

Does the Pell grant cover them or is it out of pocket?

  • If you got the pell for the year is should pay for summer classes as well, or save what was part of your disbursement and use it to pay for summer classes

  • At Liberty University they split your loans into three into of two so that you can take summer classes and they be paid for.

  • Pell grant does not cover summer classes but you can get loans,other grants. this is in my state (wv)

  • Loans, refund check leftovers, or out of pocket. Financial aid is split into two semesters for most schools. Mostly because summer is optional for most people i believe, and sometimes less expensive because full time is like 9 hours!

  • I go to a community college (TX) & all 3 semesters are covered by pell grants. If you call your college's financial aid office they should be able to tell you.
