If nobody buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?

  • Yes, you never know if someone is going to show up for it.

  • Yes, because if someone should show up late they'd want to see the movie even if they've missed part. And it isn't as though the movie could be started when the late person showed up, because the next showing time would have to be kept.

  • I don't think so but it probably depends on the market area. If its a small town, they probably don't show it....if it is in a bigger city they might in case someone does show up.

  • I use to manage a theatre. and if no one showed up we had to run the moving through the previews and then 15-20min of the movie before we would turn it off.
