How much money is appropriate for a kid losing a tooth?

It'll be her first tooth soon. She has FOUR wiggly ones!!

  • i think first tooth $5. all other teeth $2.
    i had to have surgery in my mouth when i was younger, and they had to remove a tooth. i was lucky and got $25 for that one :)

  • hahaha all i ever got was a little change... some pennies, maybe a nickel or two. i never got bills when i was a kid. yeah few dollars sounds good...no need to be stingy like my parents

  • We gave our older kids $1 for each tooth. Now they just give me the tooth and I slip them the money when their little bro isn't watching. He's about to lose his first and $1 it will be.
