  • Yes it is and if you have a chance try the cream garlic that comes in a tube, pure concentrated garlic taste, awesome, expensive but only a bit goes a long way. I live in Miami, and Publix has this in the produce dept.

  • i always buy minced garlic, because i hate chopping and peeling garlic, then my hands get all garlic smelling.

  • The garlic comes chopped (bits about the size of peas maybe) and minced (smaller than a grain of rice) in jars. You can mince it at home, but if you don't like smelling like garlic for the next three days, it's better and easier just to get the jar.

  • You can buy garlic mincers - I have one from Pampered chef, and I know you can get them other places too. You put in the clove of garlic, no need to peel or anything, squeeze the handles, and voila, fresh minced garlic, no stinky hands or anything. Much better than the jarred crud. Minced is teeny peices, pretty much impossible to see. Chopped is also very small peices, but visible.
