Perimenopaus: What's it like?

I am 32. Last month, I thought maybe I was pregnant in spite of a tubal ligation. Four negative pregnancy tests later, I no longer thought I was pregnant. I didn't get much of any kind of period last month...spotting with not even enough to wear a pad. This month, it's like the Hoover Dam busted in my vagina.
*cries and grabs a box of chocolate and Cherokee Hair tampons a la South Park*
