How many calories do you eat a matter what i eat it seems to always come out to around 1800, when i would like to be around 1500.

  • Just cut down on the portion sizes a tad (whatever amount you normally prepare, take some away), and you should hit your target calorie goal.

    However, remember this, WHAT you eat is more important than the calories! IF you REALLY want to lose weight, count the total number of FAT GRAMS! At 9 calories per gram, it's the fastest way to eliminate "excess!"

  • replace simple/white grains with whole grains
    eat more fruits and vegetables
    replace meat with legumes

  • Have you tried replacing the things you drink with water? For example 1 can of soda is 150 calories - if you drink 2 a day and replace them with water you have cut the extra 300 calories.
    I also agree with cutting portion sizes.
    Look for small ways to cut the calories. 1 slice of cheese 100 calories. 1 slice of bread 75 calories. 3 pats of butter 100 calories.
    Bake, grill, or broil meats and steam veggies.
