  • Yeah...if she has boobs that need supporting, then yes, she needs a bra. If she's still flat chested, which most girls these days aren't at that age anymore, then she wouldn't need one. It all depends on what size her bust is.

  • Does she need to be wearing one? Or should I say has she been wearing a bra before her b-day? I was wearing a B cup by the time I was 11 yrs old.

  • I don't have a 10 year old, but I would say if she has a chest then yes, but I honestly wouldn't get her a padded one or let her wear a padded one cause to me that gives boys reason to look at their chest

  • I have an 8 year old who asks for I can only tell you what I am going to do. My dd may not get "breasts" but she probably will start to develope and sort of have "bumps." Until then, Im not about to RUSH it!

  • yes probably, maybe your friend noticed she could see her boobs and wanted to cover them up

  • I remember when I first started to develop me nipples would stick out, thats it just pointy nipples. I beg my mom for a bra so I wasn't walking around with headlights. She refused, so I had to wear layered tanks under my shirts. All bras have some padding, at least the ones that cover nipples do. They also sell more undershirt like bras as well. I wouldn't buy her one of those super padded bras though.

  • Not unless she is sprouting.

  • if she has boobs...maybe. I'm small chested and wearing a camisole with a shelf or just a nice undershirt is plenty.

  • Only if she's developing. My oldest will be 10 this summer and we bought her some training bras. She is completely flat chested and this are just like her bathing suit with less fabric. It was more of a joke because one of her shirts is that vintage fabric and white and is basically see through so we were teasing her about needing a bra. She doesn't technically need one but why not get her used to wearing one now (the ones she has are flat, no padding or anything like that).
Then her 7yo sister HAD to try one on and wore one all week and then the 3yo had to have one on (that was hilarious).
