Blinds look good inside the house but not on the outside.....

Well, I suppose you could paint the backs of the slats, but to be honest, I don't see why it is really all that important. We keep our blinds down, but open, during the day. We still get light into the house, but you can't really see into the house from the outside unless you're standing right outside the window. The only time we would close the blinds during the day is if the sun is too bright while we are sitting at the table for meals or too much light is getting to the fish tank (causes algae overgrowth). At night is the only time we typically close the blinds (for privacy from the street) and then nobody can see the backs of them anyway because it's dark.

TINT YOUR WINDOWS YOU CAN STILL GET SUNLIGHT BUT NOBODY CAN SEE IN YOUR HOUSE(SO THEY WOULDN'T SEE YOUR BLINDS! ) GL
