hanging pictures

I posted a question on what to use to hang pictures and everyone recommended 3 m strips i did as the direction said and i have the right size and all but my pictures keep falling :( ji bought two packs of valcro and one thing of hooks the hook i held my 7 yr olds back pack on it just had 2 folders in it,it stayed for about 45 and than fell.....grrr :( any advice

  • Did you get the command strips ? You have to place for sets on the frame. for large pictures. I use just one and my pictures all hang great. are your walls smooth? If not you may need more than one to hang things. Here is a pic of my pictures. All of them held for over a month with those strips. At our old place they held for a year.

  • She had said she didn't want holes. That is why I suggested the strips.

  • Mrs Owen is right, Command Strips are very good.

    Did you buy plain adhesive hooks? Plain adhesive ones are not good.
    If there is a texture to your wall, the hooks may not be setting correctly.
