baby, food, baby food, formula.... answers please!

I'm a first time mom, my DS will be one in July, but he is still heavy into the formula and bottle. I give him 3 4oz baby food jars a day and he still acts hungry half an hour after eating! So, if I'm having a problem filling him up now on that stuff, how am I supposed to fill him up without formula when he is a year old? I want to give him the 3rd food jars, but he has no teeth yet. and the rice and oatmeal plug him up. HELP!!!!

  • Give him food. Jar food has a lot of water in it. Just fork mash. Sweet potato is a good first food.

  • Do you give him a bottle with his meals? Cause the jar food isn't supposed to replace his formula. Try giving a him bottle with the jar food, and my son is 14 months and only has 2 bottom teeth and he eats everything we do. Its probably ok if you give him some stage 3 foods and even some real food mashed up small.

  • Give him table food. Jar food is half water and a waste of money! I recommend the book Babyled Weaning. Read this:    and this

  • Give him normal food instead of those watered down jars.

why don't you just give him mashed up foods, like avocado, baked sweet potato, etc.
