my ears feel plugged up

my son got strep throat and now i have it and my ears feel plugged up, how can i fix this, it's driving me nuts.

  • Drink through a straw and plenty of water. The water will thin out mucus and the motion of sucking through a straw works the ear area. Good luck

  • op I think chrissifaye is right - that's close to what they say to do on a plane (nurse a baby for baby's ears) or chew gum for ear pressure. But since you have strep do you have a cold too, you could also get a sinus infection and ear infection.

  • sounds like seasonal allergy symptoms. I always get plugged up ears when my allergies act up and strep throat symptoms when the pollen is really bad
