Describe one misconception about Stay-at-Home Moms?

  • Definitely all of the above that have already been state. Also, I've also heard that men can't possibly be happy with women who stay at home-since they can't talk about anything other than the house and the kids, it bores him. He'll eventually find a woman with a "career" because she's much more independent and interesting.
    Well, all of these ARE misconceptions-I can tell you that for a fact. I was a housewife before my son was even born and I've always been very happy with it. When I talked to my husband about it, he revealed that he was hoping I'd want to stay home the whole time! I'm happy being here at my house with my son. I enjoy cleaning (not all of it, but I do it!), laundry, spending time with my son, having him with me to run errands, being here when my husband gets home....He loves that I do these things as well. He especially loves that since I do my work while he's at work, I have time for him when he

  • All PTA meetings and soccer mom schedule, including the official soccer mom hair. (yes, they exist, I'm graced with their presence at school pick up every day, but that doesn't mean there's not twice as many of us rolling our eyes at them in their little herd)
