  • If the weather is nice, I'd start a garden with the kids, even if it's not you could get seeds started inside the house, ready to transplant when it gets nicer. I don't know how old your kids are, or if they are boys or girls, but a week of spring break is a great time to get some books and learn a new skill, sewing, cooking, painting, making kites, there are so many new things to learn. Or maybe read some books with your kids that you loved when you were there age. Picnics are great.

What about working on scrapbooks together. It's fun to go through the pictures of your kids when they were younger and talk about the pictures while putting together new pages in scrapbooks.

  • It is beautiful! How about planting an little herb garden? or just some potted plants? I always like to make food with my son who is 3. He loves to help! How about making pizzas with your kids and then cookies? We have so much fun and its not expensive. Fly kites, sidewalk chalk? Give them their own DISPOSABLE CAMERAS and let them go for it. Idk it all sounds fun to me :)

  • Be tourists in your own town. Hit the local museums, do an online search and see if there is a park in the area you've never seen, spend the day playing games, teach the kids hopscotch, jump rope, etc. Have a book reading day.
Make cookies, pizza, plant a garden, get some one use cameras and let them take all the pictures, then develope them at an over night place and scrapbook the pictures.

Paint some "masterpieces" with finger paints, make slime or homemade playdough (do search for recipes). Just have fun!!
