  • If I have learned anything in life it is that you can not help those who dont want to be helped. If she is set on dating this guy then you just have to let it run its course. When things get bad then be there for her. She will have to figure it out on her own no matter how hard it is for you to watch she is the only one who can decide to put an end to it.

  • I agree with the first responder, give her encouragement, be calm and rational, don't jump to conclusions. Have a private conversation with her go out to eat for lunch, and just ask her why she broke her engagement off that you were just wondering. See what she has to say, maybe she thought she had feelings for him and now doesn't feel that way about him anymore whatever the reason may be just try to help her and pray for her give her a hand or 2 for support she will eventually listen. Don't dis's her new partner nor talk bad about him to other family members it will get a round sooner or later and then she will most likely shut herself out and stop saying anything or her personal feelings. But do let her know that her new partner is doing some,e stuff to her that you have noticed and let her know what they are, another thing is not to tell her what she did is wrong why marry someone if u don't have feelings anymore.

  • Also it is true she will have to learn on her own, and with her own mistakes which we all tend to do.
