Talking points vs reality.

In a swindle that would make Bernie Madoff look like an amateur, Barack Obama has gotten a substantial segment of the population to believe that he can add millions of people to the government-insured rolls without increasing the already record-breaking federal deficit.

  • Nobody was fooled except for the ones who don't see the whole spectrum. And there's a lot of daily posters on here who don't see the whole spectrum but regurgitate talking points. They are the loudest and most obnoxious, drowning out anyone with a voice of reason.

    As far as "swindling" I guess we'll see.

  • The only way you can pass this bill without increasing the deficit is by raising taxes. I read yesterday there are now NINETEEN new forms of tax in this bill. Those taxes will be paid by us, one way or the other.

  • Buying into the medicare system, will not raise taxes. The system already exists. The cost is lower than insurance. Those presently wihout health insurance will not be jacking up MY costs doctor and hospital bills because they will now have insurance.
