Have a question about BBT

I frequently have to get up and pee around 3:30-4am. I wake up and take bbt at 6:45am. How will 1.) getting up and 2.) fairly empty bladder affect my temp reading?

  • Bladder shouldnt have anything to do with it, but will affect your temp. it can even vary from a degree or so. anyways, I would just take it when you have to get up to pee everymorning around 4...then that way you wont have to worry about later, as long as you're getting 5hrs sleep previously, it should work out well.

  • You need atleast 4 hours of sleep for your BBT to be accurate so I agree, take it when you first get up to pee in the middle of the night.
