When are babies considered Toddlers?

When they are 1, or when they start walking?? When i worked in daycares i always heard toddlers being referred to 2year olds?!

  • I think it is like 18 months since at daycares that is when they put them in to the toddler room

  • 1-2 is the "baby tween" :) I say baby until 2. I like to keep them babies as long as possible though :)

  • I consider them toddlers when they "toddle". But I think the norm considers it around 1 yr.

  • I considered mine toddlers at about theitr1st birthday until they are about 3 when I refer to them as preschoolers....
