  • Lots of folks don't know it but corned beef and cabbage ain't traditional Irish food, it's really bacon and cabbage, it changed to corned beef here in the states, along with alot of other Saint Patrick's Day traditions. Anyway, yes we all wear green except the hubby who says he shouldn't have to since he's full blooded German, not Irish, but he eats the Colcannon and Pebbernodders I make every year just the same, and he wears green everyday the Army tells him he has to LOL!   • We are not Irish but we support peace within and peace between countries, we wear green and also orange. I have an Irish daughterinlaw and she suppports our rainbow on St. Patrick's day to promote peace and recognition of the all of Ireland.
