Since when does "religion" = "Christian"?

Why is it any time there is a question in general terms: god, religion, faith, there is immediately someone to start in whining about it being Christian bashing or, conversely, yelling at someone who answers it from a non-Christian perspective?

  • I am guessing because those who say these things do not know the meaning of the word religion. Doesnt look like it is only christian to me.

I abhor anti-Semites. I have no patience for KKK types who cannot acknowledge that even the bible supports multiple religions.

  • christians are generally the ones who claim that they are not a "religious people"... that they do not practice in ritual, but in their every breath. So, how (from their perspective) could what I have said about religion as a whole, be misconstrued as applicable to THEM?

  • I think whatever is good & makes you want to be the best person you can be, it's all in the eyes of the beholder. I've never noticed what your saying, personally.
