Don't hold your breath.
I heard Gibbs and his infinite wisdom during a q and a with media. Many people are under the impression people with conditions that have caused them to be unable to get insurance will be covered soon after this bill is signed. Well a reporter has found out thats not the truth. This will not go into effect till 2013 when much of the bill comes into effect. In fact he says the reason is because there will be so many people it will take them time to get them into the system. Now what "system" do these people need to be put into? Republicans want to provide pools just as are done with high risk auto insurance and flood insurance. This can be done NOW. Why is Obama making them wait and why are we just now finding this out? I think we all know....

They have to be able to use it as a threat for re-election in 2012. You know, something along the lines of 'Republicans will take away your right to purchase insurance if you have pre-existing conditions'. That's my best guess.
