Uhm, I don't know exactly the answer to your question, but it is the Omegga3 that is good for you. Sorry I can't help more, though!

I think you should consult a nutritionist, or a doctor.... even before taking. Yeah I hear they're all good for you... but also can be bad for you if not taken properly. Or may have little to no affect if not taken properly.

check to see if the oil is purified...like fish, fish oil can be contaminated if not purified first. fish oil is good for the omega 3's. they are good for brain function, which ultimately means they are good for everything. fish oil is no fad either...it used to be taken years ago too. flax seed oil is another good source of good fats.
personally i am no fan of supplements, but we do take fish oil and probiotics.
i would follow the package dosage instructions.
to eat foods high in omega 3's would be ideal...nuts avocadoes, fish...
