  • If his speech is delayed I highly recommend getting Early Childhood Intervention involved. They can test him to find out how far he is behind, and if he qualifies a speech therapist will work with him. The speech therapist will also give you really good ideas of things you can do to help too.

i would rate your time and attention above any product you can buy. Some of the best things you can do are talk, read, sing, and play with him. Talk about everything you see and ask him questions. Sing the same silly songs over and over again and read the same books as many times as he will allow. When you play cars together talk about the colors of each car, which ones are fast and which ones are slow, etc.

  • I don't know about products. . I suggest personally working with your child. You and him without any products. Kids learn best when it's their parents they're learning from.

  • i agree getting a speech therapist involved is a great idea. the best thing you can do other then the therapy is sit down and play. children learn by playing. and while you are playing talk to your child. not using large words just say the colors, what it is, what it is doing. like "the green truck is going" "white rabbit is hopping"et

i know everyone says leapfrog is the best but my son doesnt play with his puppy Scott by leapfrog. and the your baby can read is a fake. the whole thing is that the child is putting what they learn in their short trem memory and just repeating was you are telling them. and if you skip one day they don't know anything more them they did before you bought it.
