can someone use curse words you sent on text messages against you in court?? i live in texas!!!

my dh is hot tempered and said some stuff??

  • if he said im gonna beep! kill you because your dumb beep! got me introuble then yes i guess they can...but if he said i beep hate you i wish your beep! was never born your the biggest beep! in this world then no.

  • No. Unless he threatened you or your children's life, then his choice of words cannot be used against him.

  • HELL YEAH! They can be used as sexual attacks, or they can be used as physical threats. YES they can. We had to do this against one of our employees after they were let go. Take it down to the police station. They can tell you all you need to know.

  • And yes, especially if the court's are trying to grant custody or make a decision about his temper, his emotional rage, his anger, etc... with those choice of words, those words can be held against him.... That's his decision that he chose in a moment of anger.
