what can i use as treatment for congestion for an 18 month old

  • A humidifer or a big pot of boiling water on the stove works really well! Baby VapoRub works wonders as well! Jergens also makes a Vapor bubble bath that really help. Make sure that you are giving them plenty of liquids but no milk products!

    Good luck. My 2 year is feeling the same way. It isn't fun!

  • I wouold stick only with a humidifyer(no vaporrubs etc), or any other kind of steam Ilike putting baby in the bathroom with the shower running.

  • Definalty a humidifier it works wonders and pediatricians would advice agains any kind of vapor rub wether its for kids or adults.

  • I'm not bashing, but why no vapor rub? I've used it for it years with no ill effects. On kids, adults and even on pets.
