Will they actually make the cuts?

According to the CBO~ in order 'save' money~ the proposed healthcare bill calls for $38.1 billion in cuts to Medicaid prescription drug coverage.
If you are on Medicare, are you willing to see you prepared to see your drug coverage changed, limited? Are you willing to drive further to get an Rx because places like WalGreens are going to stop covering?

  • Grly, how can the cut Medicaid coverage while expanding Medicaid? That makes no sense.

Cuts to Medicaid hurt THE POOR. The people who need the MOST help. Cutting benefits TO THE POOR is not acceptable, IMO.

  • mancos.... This is the crap that is in the bill... They are expanding meidcare to COVER more, but they are LOWERING the payments to hospitals and prescription drug companies... But they won't really lower the costs. It's a game. Make it LOOK like they are lowering all the while they will propose entitlement bills later to expand... If anyone opposes the game? Well, just ask Bunning how (with the media attention) that worked out for him... No one wants to be the one who said NO to the poor... Democrats are playing a game.
