Re-Using Beef Stew

I am making beef stew in the crock pot tonight and know there will be extra for tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for making a new meal out of left over beef stew. Thanks ladies! I was thinking pot pies but not sure.

  • Well, you could make Dumplings and put on top. My Grandma does that all the time with left over stews, and soups (thickens soups up) Pot Pies would be awesome with it too.

  • It's actually perfect for pot pies!

Go to the market and get those small mini pie crusts...depending on your preference I get two per person cause I like top and bottom crust...ladle a heaping serving of stew in; cover and bake til the crust is done - sooo yummy

I also make a chicken 'stew' and use that for pot pie filling; mmmmmmmmmm
