im 21 weeks pregnant and having leg pain when sleeping

they say you shouldnt lay on your right side. and you should lay on your left side, i try but everytimei do i always get leg pain from laying on that side for too long.. ugh!! what should i do?

  • Try sticking a pillow(may have to try different sizes) in between your knees to keep yourself more aligned that should help with sleeping on your left side.

  • I usually switch halfway through the night, first half left side, second half right side. I think it's more important you don't sleep on your back or stomach.

  • ALSO BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP POINT AND FLEX YOUR TOES IT WILL HELP KEEP YOUR LEGS FROM CRAMPING!

  • Point them towards your shins though not down.. that is what causes the horrid cramp pain..

  • i switch from the left to the right as well. you may want to consider yoga and or a chiropractor as well.
