  • Yes and I enjoy doing it. Its like creating art then eating it! I really love the food network, I have learned so much. I used to think cooking was all about reading the directions on a box! I have learned that using fresh ingredients and whole foods, using fresh herbs, coming up with new combinations, now that is cooking.

  • Yes, I started young. The thing is, I don't like to do it very much, so I don't always put much effort into it.

  • With most things. I make some pretty complicated dishes sometimes, but often have problems with simple things like grilled cheese (always have the heat too high) and scrambled eggs.

  • Yes. And I also take critiques well when I actually get them. I have a hugely wide variety of dishes that I know how to make from all different regions of the world, and the dinner table never gets boring because of it.

  • I have been told that I am. People sure seem to like my lasagna that's for sure. I make a mean (literally) chilli.

Anon 1217: Grilled cheese can be a challenge. One thing that is a MUST is a non-stick pan. Same rule with eggs, scrambled or just fried. A good spray (Pam or the like) is essential for the eggs as well. Start out on Medium heat instead of High. I've found that works better. Another thing yoy could do is lightly toast the bread before hand.

  • No, but I am teaching myself again. So far I've made some incredible dishes. Heck, if my 17 year old likes it, then I'm successful!
