Gagging at 6 months

my daughter has been putting her mouth so far into her mouth to chew on it,that she gags herself and frequently throws up...Why is this and what can I do about it????????????????

  • my daughter did this around that age but it only lasted a few weeks - if that - and she grew out of it...I wouldn't worry!!

  • its a phase...sometimes a few weeks, sometimes months. just give her something to do right away and distract her. maybe a binki?? My dd did the same thing. She's 19 months now and still every now and then will do it for attention.
