At what age did you stop giving your child a bottle before bed?

Just after 15 month. If he was thirsty I would give him a sippy cup with water. He was so mad at first.

Around one, and we switched to the sippy cup, he took it rather well. Felt like a big boy

about 12 months. one night he refused the bottle- then the next night, then the next night- so i just said "cool!. he weaned himself!"

Never. They never went to bed with a bottle. Letting your baby take a bottle to bed is huge mistake. It also makes it that much harder to wean from the bottle.

When they turned 1. Usually the bedtime bottle was the last one they were on (we started weaning them off at 10 months so by the time they turned 1 they were down to 1 bottle a day). And when the formula ran out I just stopped giving them one. Never had any issues.

Mine stopped at 12-13 months when we got rid of the bottle and switched from formula to milk.
