What food gives off a lot of energy for soccer?

My daughter plays soccer and she needs all the energy she can get for the game. The coach suggested PBJ sandwich, but she does not like PBJ. What else she can eat to keep her body maintain the energy level throughout the game?

  • Bananas and oranges, they contain lots of vitamin C and Potassium to prevent  muscle cramps

    legumes (like lentils, beans, tofu)
    nuts
    fruits
    vegetables

    Take a whole grain tortilla, spread hummus, add shredded carrots and cucuber. Roll and eat.
