Racism and homophibia from the Tea Party why did it come down to this?

A staffer for Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told reporters that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) had been spat on by a protestor. Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), a hero of the civil rights movement, was called a 'ni--er.' And Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) was called a "faggot," as protestors shouted at him with deliberately lisp-y screams. Frank, approached in the halls after the president's speech, shrugged off the incident.

But Clyburn was downright incredulous, saying he had not witnessed such treatment since he was leading civil rights protests in South Carolina in the 1960s.

  • Way to tag the majority with the actions of the anomalous number of negative Tea Partiers. I see it's just more of the same from the left of the aisle.

  • John Lewis said he did not here that, it was a huffington post reporter that said he heard it. Enough said there.

Frank's said somebody called him a homo not a fag. Well that is a true statement.

Why did you not bring up the 8 anti-war protesters that were arrested today?

LOL is right.  Me thinks you confused someone else with tn.  Maybe you should have read it better before accusing someone of something they didn't do.
