Age to wipe themselves?

At what age did you teach your kids to wipe themselves after using the potty. Did you teach them while potty training or did you wait until they had that down pat and then teach them to use the tp? What about with girls, when did you teach them after they went #1?

  • I taught my daughter how to wipe herself properly and wash hands while we were potty training. It took a while, but she got it. She also got her own "special" potty wipes (KanDoo flushable wipes) to use as an incentive.

  • I taught them during potty training. DD was 2. DS was 3.
