Obama admits that we will no longer be able to keep our current insurance or chose our own doctors???

Obama said to the GOP "The last thing I will say, though -- let me say this about health care and the health care debate, because I think it also bears on a whole lot of other issues. If you look at the package that we've presented -- and there's some stray cats and dogs that got in there that we were eliminating, we were in the process of eliminating. For example, we said from the start that it was going to be important for us to be consistent in saying to people if you can have your -- if you want to keep the health insurance you got, you can keep it, that you're not going to have anybody getting in between you and your doctor in your decision making. And I think that some of the provisions that got snuck in might have violated that pledge. "

  • It will be ignored, right up until the people who support it see their insurance canceled.

  • This was posted a few months ago with little to no responses. After many had eaten up his every damn word as gospel and spewed out the talking points that nobody with insurance would lose it blah blah.See theres the big problem too many are way to trusting and will follow these people right over the cliff.

  • Not a surprise, the facts are that within 5 yrs all insurance must follow government guidelines. That could mean ANYTHING. It also doesn't take into fact that your Dr may very well retire or stop taking your insurance because of this health bill. There is nothing stopping employers from dumping you into the government exchange or just canceling health ins. as a benifit. It may be cheaper just to pay the fee.
I can't imagine anyone wanting to trust this corrupt administration. It's sooo apparent what they are doing.

  • Every bill that passes is massive and has flaws. Obama didn't write the bill, he wants the problems with it corrected. Unfortunately our elected officials are acting like children refusing to work together to do so.

  • That is what happened here in TN Steph employers started dumping and then this GEM happened the system was overloaded and the state almost went belly up bankrupt..TN tried this experiment with health insurance back in the 90's.

TN has been telling Obama the state cannot afford this now but alas ignored like the rest of ua hollaring wanting to be heard.
